The second is dated 28 September 1942, by which time Tyrie had become a Squadron Leader and was given this tankard as a present from his 'local' pub, The Manor House.

| Wooden 'Windmill' Propeller - rare, four laminated blades, as fitted to Miles Martinet Target Tug Aircraft in WWII. This was mounted over the port wing and powered the target winch to hall in the drogue targets. 36" (92 cm) diameter. Rare and unusual prop.

| RAF Log Book - named to W/Commander G P Gibson DFC. This is a superb replica of Gibson's Log Book no. 2 (the original is in the Public Records Office, London) and was printed in 1976. This is now a collector's item in its own right and covers the Dams Raid, Award of VC, etc. Superb. As close as you can get to owning the real thing!

| Luftwaffe Flying Jacket - post-war, grey leather. Chest size 42-43" (107-109 cm). Reversible orange rayon lining, complete with original insignia.

| G1 Flying Jacket - US Navy issue, made to early 55J14 spec., with USN stencilled on the back of the collar. This pattern was introduced in 1950 and used throughout the Korean war. We have replaced the waist, sleeve cuffs and zip all to original specification and repaired the lining. Chest size 39-40. A nice example of this classic jacket.
