Luftwaffe WWII Flying Boots - Click for the bigger picture SoldLuftwaffe WWII Flying Boots - in very good original condition. Zips are in working order with original leather pulls, manufactured by Opti. The soles, which show signs of service wear, are marked "Original Wilop". Leather and suede uppers are in excellent shape - there is a period repair to the heel area of the right boot. Excellent fur lined interior. Manufacturer's label obscured, but approximate Size 9/10 (Continental 43/44).

We bought this as an original item, but believe that the buckle may be a reproduction. We have priced, and are selling, on this basis. Ideal for re-enactment.

USAAF 'Chocolate' Tunic - Click for the bigger picture SoldUSAAF 'Chocolate' Tunic - in near mint condition with original badges. This jacket features a "lazy belt" incorporated within the pattern. The lining and interior are very clean and nicely labelled to "Phila. Quarter Master Depot" complete with inspection stamp and clearly dated 20th October 1941. Four embroidered service bars to left sleeve. Chest size 36-38" (91-97 cm). This tunic would be hard to better in any collection.

USAF Issue L2-B Flying Jacket - Click for the bigger picture SoldUSAF Issue L2-B Flying Jacket - dating from the 1960's. This jacket differs from the MA-1, in that it's not insulated, features epaulettes, and has a waist closing tab. This jacket was subsequently used by a British helicopter pilot in the Army Air Corps, so it has had a varied service career! Manufacturer's label, squadron and name patches removed, otherwise completely original with some service wear. 40" chest (102 cm).

Summer Flying Suit - Click for the bigger picture SoldSummer Flying Suit - Australian Air Force, WWII. This is an un-issued example -, it even has the manufacturer's paper label attached to the front. The interior label reads "N91 1942 Size 2 Made in Australia". This suit is very similar in design to the early pattern RAF Sidcot, but with buttons replacing the zip closures. A near perfect example to display in your RAAF collection – or it is ready to take to the air after 62 years!

'Warren' Safety Flying Helmet - Click for the bigger picture Sold'Warren' Safety Flying Helmet - Patent No. 14310, named to L. Newman. These helmets were invented by Mr Warren of Hendon, near London, in the early 1900's. While they were never officially adopted by the military, they were popular with trainee pilots in the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Naval Air Service. There is some service wear, but overall in very good condition. A very rare early flying helmet.

RAF 'B' Type Flying Helmet - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF 'B' Type Flying Helmet - Stores Ref. 22C/64 Size 1. This helmet is as issued, without fitted ear receiver cups - these were added by the Squadron tailor to suit individual requirements. Some service wear, but a nice original example of an unmodified 'B' Type from the early years of WWII.

RAF 'B' Type Flying Helmet - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF 'B' Type Flying Helmet - Stores Ref. 22C/65 with receiver cups fitted Size 2. Nice original condition with some service wear. The back adjustment strap and flap has been field modified to provide a tighter fit. A superb example of the classic "Battle of Britain" flying helmet.

RAF 'E' Type Flying Helmet - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF 'E' Type Flying Helmet - Stores Ref. 22C/974. This is the second pattern with an internal wiring loom - while marked as a Size 2, fits more like a Size 4. These helmets were intended for Coastal Command Air Crew, who often flew "Ops" of 10 hours, or more - the 'E' type was more comfortable to wear. Very clean condition inside and out.

RAF 'G' Type Cloth Flying Helmet - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF 'G' Type Cloth Flying Helmet - fitted with receivers and wiring loom. The helmet is a Size 3, dated 1959. Named on the front to "Birdling". Good issued condition.

RAF Mk IIIA Flying Goggles - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF Mk IIIA Flying Goggles - in original issued condition. Some yellowing to lenses, but overall lovely patina. Original back strap fitted (some stretching to springs), stamped "AM 22C/62". Very clean face mask - named to "Chapman No. 1268565".

Mk IVB Flying Goggles - Click for the bigger picture SoldMk IVB Flying Goggles - in exceptional condition. Very clean frame and clear lenses. Some hardening to face rubbers (as normal! . Original elastic loops and back strap. Stamped "AM Mk IVB 22C/167". About as good as they come for a 1941 vintage goggle.

RAF Mk VIII Goggles - Click for the bigger picture SoldRAF Mk VIII Goggles - in Original Issue Box. Stamped "Stores Ref. 22C/930". Nice original condition, all paintwork intact and a good back strap. The box, dated 1942, contains spare tinted lenses (in good shape), a demisting tin and cloth. Minor fogging to lenses.

Night Adaption Goggles - Click for the bigger picture SoldNight Adaption Goggles - used by RAF Fighter Pilots, Stores Ref. 22C/575. These goggles were worn by fighter pilots prior to "ops" in order to adjust the eyes for night flying conditions. Nicely AM stamped. Dark blue lenses fitted. The best example we've ever had!
